How Yoga Changed My Life

As a working mom, I am always busy between house chores, kids and work. I live in the suburbs of New Jersey and I have a 9 to 5 job in NYC. The commute and daily stress is eating me alive. My diet isn’t the best, but I stay away from carbs. I never really workout but I walk my dog every night after dinner. For the past 2 years I’ve been waking up with constant joint pain, especially in my neck and back. Generally, I never felt good. Last Christmas my hubby got me yoga classes at a nearby yoga studio. This wasn’t just any yoga, but it was HOT YOGA.

At first I was skeptical because I didn’t have time and I never pictured myself doing yoga. I highly recommend yoga or even better, hot yoga. Find your stress relieving workout. I’ve found mine.”Let me tell you something, what a great workout and experience! Stretching your muscles and joints and sweating like a dog in a 105 degree room is amazing. I feel like all of my bad energy and stress is released whenever I go there. It wasn’t easy at first but the heat relaxes my body. My life changed completely.

I wake up feeling a thousand times better and I am much calmer. I feel great during the day overall. It’s not for everybody but if you feel tired and stressed all the time, I highly recommend yoga or even better, hot yoga. Find your stress relieving workout. I’ve found mine.
